midPhase Review

Having more than 120,000 customer accounts along with hundreds of servers, midPhase has proven to offer reliable web hosting. As opposed to many other hosts, midPhase actually owns all their servers.  They are not rented out like most hosting companies do.

Cost:   

midPhase offers a couple of different budget hosting plan. Their basic plan, which allows 20 domains to be hosted, costs $7.99 a month.  While their other account costs $11.99 and allows you to host unlimited domains. 

Virtual Private Server accounts start at $49.95 a month and their dedicated hosting starts at $199.99 a month.

There are no setup fees or contracts.

Features: 

midPhase does have cPanel, but unfortunately it is on the tad slow side.  However their plans offer a huge amount of disk space as well as bandwidth.  Their promotional features include a free lifetime domain with every new account.  They also have advertising credits for new accounts such as:

• $50 Free credit to Yahoo Ads
• $50 Free credit to Google Adwords
• $25 Entrance Search Credit
• $20 Search 1-2-3 Credit

Customer Service: 

midPhase has customer support 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week through telephone, email, and online chat.   There are tons of great videos that take you step by step through all their different features on each respective respective hosting plan.  There have been reports though, that email customer support is a little slow.
